This weekend there will be a "super moon" in the sky. A super
moon - called a "perigee full moon" by astronomers - describes the
moon’s closest approach to Earth for a particular month.
The June super
moon will be the full moon’s closest encounter with Earth this year. On June
23, the time of full moon will take place within an hour of the time of
perigee. So, the June 23rd full moon will look larger than it does in
other months and there will not be a full moon so close again until August, 2014.
Where will you be? I'll be tagging along with the Jo'burg Photowalkers!
thanks for share........
