The Birds of KZN

We chose to take my sister on safari in KZN because it is the bird capital of South Africa. The iSimngaliso Wetland and Hluhluwe iMfolozi Parks and even Thula Thula are home to thousands of species of birds. My sister is a birder and my husband is slowly becoming one. I am not, but I do appreciate a pretty bird when I see one. The problem is I can never remember their names.

And they are difficult to photograph. As soon as I perfectly line up a shot, they fly away! Here are some that didn't get away ...
