The Gautrain is the high speed train that takes you from Sandton, where we live and Vince's offce is located, to the O.R. Tambo International Airport. It is awesome! It takes 15 minutes. I used to think Newark Airport was convenient! But there I had to contend with the dreaded Route 22.
You can drive and park at the station but it is only a five minute cab ride from the apartment so I opted for a cab. Cabs 4 Women to be exact. Recommended by Vince's P.A. Isabelle, these taxis are women-owned and women-operated. And the cabs are pink!
Don't be taken in by the Zebra Cabs though. They are zebra-striped and very cute too, but they are neither zebra-owned nor zebra-operated. "Tawk amongst yourselves," as Linda Richman would say on SNL's Coffee Talk,
