KTFP combines the former lands of the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park in South Africa and the Gemsbok National Park in Botswana. Besides the KTFP, South Africa currently shares two other peace parks, the Ai-Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park with Namibia and the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park with Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
