Emily's Bar & Bistro

Cher gets her face painted at Moyo
We did eat at a traditional African restaurant while we were in Joburg, Moyo at Zoo Lake. But my sister wanted to specifically try some bobotie before she left. She is planning to have an African-inspired dinner party when she returns home and she wanted to taste the real thing before attempting to make it herself.

We chose the bobotie at one of EatOut magazine's "Best African restaurants in Cape Town." Emily's Bar & Bistro.
You can bring your own wine to Emily's which is great because we were able to drink a few of the bottles we bought in the Cape Winelands.
Emily's menu is African-based but with a modern twist. Perfect for our last meal together in Cape Town! :(
