You go straight north from Johannesburg.
In between two very large mountain ranges, the Blouberg range (highest elevation 2046 m.) and the Soutpansberg Mountains (highest elevation 1876 m.)
Into the tropics ...
... until you start to see the baobab trees in Limpopo.
And just before you cross into Botswana, you make a right.
It is the kind of a road trip where you mark down the available gas stations and rest stops on your map for the trip back home. Just in case ...
In other words, it is just our kind of road trip!
