We just had an inverter and a 100 AH battery installed to run our computers, internet, chargers and printer during load-shedding. We'll use our solar-generated battery to fuel some lights instead.

And we bought a bistro gas burner so we don't have to go out when the electricity does. We can have a Hot Pot for dinner instead!
Okay, now we've got heat, light, entertainment, mobile communication and we can make coffee. All the necessities of life. FU Eskom.
