HBD Groot Constantia!

Groot Constantia, South Africa’s oldest wine producing farm with an uninterrupted record of wine production since its inception in 1685, is boasting a proud heritage of 330 years this year. While in Cape Town, we toured the cellars of Groot Constantia and had a taste of the momentous 2015 vintage!

There was a huge birthday card in the lobby of the tasting room with birthday wishes from some of the world's oldest and most revered wine producers.

The wine in these oak barrels will be bottled as a special commemorative vintage to honour and celebrate over three centuries of legendary wine production. I joined the Groot Constantia Wine Club in order to be notified when the 2015 vintage is released. You'll be the first person I tell!
