Mandela's birthplace

We flew into East London from Cape Town and drove through Qunu and Mthata on the way to Port St. Johns for the 2015 Sardine Run.

Qunu is the birthplace and burial site of Nelson Mandela. We stopped into the Nelson Mandela Museum and the Nelson Mandela Youth & Heritage Centre for a visit.
