The Munro Drive

For a great view of the Jacarandas, check out The Munro Drive. A national monument built by Italian prisoners of war captured during the Second World War, The Munro Drive winds down Houghton ridge. It is very steep and windy but there is a wide turn-out where you can pull over in your car and take in the magnificent purple view.
