Kwaheri means "goodbye" in Swahili

We did not do any self-catering while on our self-drive safari adventure in Tanzania. We were not set up for it.

We didn't have a refrigerator in the truck. In fact, the only accommodation that included mini-refrigerators in our rooms was the Bougainvillea Safari Lodge in the Ngorongoro Region. But every lodge and tented camp where we stayed along the way served us a boxed lunch as part of their standard fare.
