Tanzanian roads are B.A.D. bad! They remind my of a tee shirt we once owned which parodies an Alaskan weather map.
The primary roads are crappy. The secondary roads are really crappy. And the National Park 4X4 roads are unbelievably crappy. We drove on some intermittently crappy and partly crappy roads too.
On the dirt roads, you have your choice of:

 |
